Muddenahalli-Sathya Sai Loka Seva School

Located in the twin towns of Muddenahalli-Kanivenarayanapura, the birthplace of legendary Indian engineer, Sri Mokshagundam Visvesvarayya in Kolar District of Karnataka State. The Sri Sathya Sai Loka Seva Educational Institution is run by the Sri Sathya Sai Loka Seva Trust. It is considered to be one of the top boarding schools in the Bangalore region and primarily serves destitute lower caste students from nearby villages.

The School follows State syllabus from 8th standard to 10th standard in both English and Kannada, junior high school from 5th through 7th standard Kannada, as well as CBSE syllabus from 6th standard to 10th standard and PUC in commerce & Science. The school offers online-based Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate options for gifted students. The Sathya Sai Baba University and Medical College is being constructed adjacent to the school compound near Kanivenarayanapura [1]. The School was created by Late Sri Madiyal Narayana Bhat. In addition, the Indian Institute of Technology Muddenahalli as well as the 600 crore Visvesvaraya Institute of Advanced Technology are neighboring the school [2][3].

The institution has more than 70 world-class lecturers and professors. It is complete with a well equipped sports stadium, amphitheatre, auditorium, spiritual center, bank and grocery store, farm, and brand new computer labs. The school's aim is to inculcate its students with a broad knowledge base and a deep spiritual background. Sri B Narayana Rao is the honorary secretary of the institution.
